Health Assessment:

Ultrasound Scan:

Before you buy abortion pill, ensure whether abortion is right for you.  You will have a lot of cramping and bleeding after you take the second medication at home. Therefore, plan ahead accordingly, to make the procedure more comfortable. Decide a time when you will have some privacy and can rest for a while, and have someone you trust with you (or nearby), which you can call for support if you need anything.

Stock up food, books, or movies, maxi pads to help pass the time, and a heating pad for cramps. Ensure you have some pain medication- avoid using aspirin as it can make you bleed more.

Fasting:

Having a medical abortion, you will be recommended to adopt a certain diet. For instance, before and after taking abortion pills, you will be advised to have light food, plenty of water, more fluids, or energy drinks. Women should not drink alcohol for 24 hours prior to the first tablet and until 24 hrs after the second medicine.
